How do I gain more weight?!

Question: How do I gain more weight?
I'm a few months away from 19, 6' 3.5, and 180-185lbs. I have a very fast metabolism, eat well (lots of organics), eat often, and am pretty toned. I am somewhat lanky (wingspan of 80"). According to multiple body frame tests on the internet I am medium-large framed.

I am also involved in Judo (brown belt) and I compete in tournaments. At the moment I fight in the under 166-181lbs category (before a tournament I get just a smidgen under 181lbs). Obviously it's best to fight at the top of the category.

I see these people on the internet (current and past olympic champions) who are 5'10-6'0 and weigh between 240-280lbs but are still toned.

Now I know at my age most people are in the same boat, but will I fill out naturally (healthy 200lbs) or do I really need to work at it? I also go to the gym a few times a week (total 5-6 work outs a week) but I feel like I just get more toned, and not actually bigger. I weigh about 15lbs more than I did last year.\

How do I weigh more while still being toned? (IE not just gaining empty weight)

The simple fact is you can't. Anyone who says you can gain fast muscle is lying out their teeth and most of the time are trying to sell you something. The muscle building process is a long process and you usually build about 15lbs per year on average.

To me is seems like you are following a good routine. One thing I learned though is that if you eat a lot your metabolism gets used to it and stays burning throughout the day. You really can't get around that. I would suggest you try different types of foods like hemp seeds, rice, meat, vegetables, and fruit.

I usually say stay away from rice because starches isn't that good for your colon but if you want to gain weight than starches are the best thing to use. Eat like crazy and build the muscle slowly there is no other way unless you use steroids.

BTW, you seem perfectly fine and trust me you will be thankful that you have a fast metabolism in the future. Give it a couple of years when your hormone production is lowered a little which is when you will see better results in weight gain.
