How do you stop snacking?!


Question: How do you stop snacking?
I've been off school for a week and oh my god, I haven't been able to stop snacking!! I can't stop myself :( I normally don't eat this much but when the cravings set in, I can't control it! *sigh* how do I lay off the foodage?

To stop me snacking i usually just eat fruit or chew gum but chewing gum can bloat or drink water i usually drink alot of water x]



The truth of the matter is bodies are different, what works for Tom may not necessarily work for Jerry.
I have found out that snacking on roasted peanuts and a full glass of water keeps me full up for long time that i quickly loose interest in eating other stuff plus they said nuts are good for you anyway. I personally don't do very well on fruits no matter how much they say it is good for you.
Having said that, the other thing that works for me is walks, a lot of it, and a bottle of water, with your music, the thoughts of snacks will fly out of your system. Try it...



you can eat how much you like if you stay within these 3 guidelines and still lose fat naturally and gradually. You should lose 10lbs each month on average.

1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains, & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.


(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer ((Very cheap)) and a rice cooker as makes it very easy to prepare healthy meals ,,add a bit of olive oil and pepper, spices on top of steamed vegeatables, fish or chicken to add more taste if wish as these are healthy too.)



Its because your bored, go outside and play, invite some friends over, anything to keep you out of the kitchen and off the couch. And don't get those snacks anymore, snack on something healthy, like yogurt, or fruit, or veggies. Hope this helps.



Don't buy it!
I told my mum to stop buying so much crap... especially crisps and chocolate cus I found it too hard to resist. Buy lots of fruit and healthy snacks instead and then when you do snack it will be less destructive :D!

Its really hard to stop snacking, the best way to do is store your refrigerator
with foods with non fat, or low calorie like salads or fruits.. maybe that could help..

Don't stop snacking, it's way too difficult. Just swap unhealthy snacks for healthier ones. Lay off the crisps and sweets and go for fruit instead.



maybe a better idea is WHAT your snacking on... snacks can be quite healthy for you, how bout some celery sticks with lowfat pb?



Don't deprive yourself of a snack, just ensure its healthy, try eating fruit



Offset the snacking for more exercise. Whenever I snack...I treat it as workout energy.



Just eat food that will keep you full longer. Cheese, low-fat nuts oughta do it.



instead of snacking try eating full meals.
