Question: Just not skinny enough?
So. I got a diagnose, that I have anorexia nervosa. I'm 5'5 (165 cm) and about 100 pounds (45 kg) at the moment..
But the deal is, I'm not skinny enough. Scale says that I am, but I seriously am not. I look so fat, and no, I'm not imagining or anything. Even my friend thought I was 121 pounds.. My thighs and calves are just so fat, they have always been, and it feels like they always will. I also rarely get comments like "You're so skinny!" or anything, cuz i'm not. If someone calls me skinny, they focus on my upper body, which I also think is pretty skinny, no tummy at all. (also no breasts, ha ha:D)
So I wanted to recover from this disorder. I ate pretty normally, or even more than I need for a while, but stopped when I gained weight..
The actual problem is, that I feel so distressed, because no matter what, I can't be skinny enough. I'll never achieve those slim legs I've always dreamed of, because I can't change my body shape.. But still, I try to lose weight, why? Because a part of me is hoping, that some day, I'll be skinny enough.
What the hell am I suppose to do?

love, you are VERY slim. Don't hurt yourself please. You're absolutley beautiful exactly the way you are. My brother's fiance came VERY close to death because of her anorexia nervosa. She had to start eating or she would have heart failure, and her heart had already slowed down. I remember the day my brother was sitting on the floor of our kitchen, trying to get her to eat a spoonful of peanut butter and she couldn't she just sat there sobbing. It was horrible for her, and for my brother. You'll be hurting yourself as well as others.

She's beautiful, but she looks worse when she's at her skinniest, when she's sick again. Her features look too big for her face and she looks like a skeleton. When she's at a healthy weight, she looks like a super model!

I don't know what your talking about. You look very skinny to me.. You really should recover from this disorder. it's not good for your body.. You can seriously ruin your body from this.
Please eat more, and keep it healthy!

I don't know how to tell you this, but that is not fat. The things on your legs are your muscles. You need them to walk. There is no getting rid of it. You look great, it is very healthy to have them look like that. I know that is not what you want to hear, but it is the truth.



Nikki, you actually look skinny. Your thighs are supposed to be fat as every girls are, but you look skinny all around. You look fine, I promise! Good luck!(:

Its of Portia de Rossi - she had anorexia and basically said the same as you. In the end she weighed 37 kg and almost died. Her joints froze in place. Her heart almost stopped, her kidneys failed... and thats whats gonna happen to you unless you learn to love yourself. You look super skinny and people probably don't want to say you look great because then they'll be saying that anorexia is making you look great which it is not. You are beautiful. Don't get any skinnier. No one is perfect so just be you.



you can eat how much you like if you stay within these 3 guidelines and still lose fat naturally and gradually. You should lose 10lbs each month on average.

1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains, & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.


(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer ((Very cheap)) and a rice cooker as makes it very easy to prepare healthy meals ,,add a bit of olive oil and pepper, spices on top of steamed vegeatables, fish or chicken to add more taste if wish as these are healthy too.)
