If you have any heart conditions, or other physical ailments that are stopping you from starting an exercise program, you should 100% talk to a doctor before starting any of the following.

To lose weight consistently, you have to follow the basic formula for many days in a row:

Calories in < Calories burned

What this basically means is you have to burn more calories then you eat. But how to do this? Here's some ideas on how to get started:

Strength Training: Find a qualified personal trainer and ask he or she to write you a program, and/or teach you form on certain basic lifting exercises. Bench, Squat, Pull-ups, Deadlift, the basics. Now, your weight may prevent you from doing these exercises with proper form, so you may want to start with variations of them, such as doing Push-ups, Burpees, Squats to sitting in a chair, etc.. The point is, do variations of a strength program that will allow you to make gains but not compromise form. I would follow this "full body routine" 3 times a week with 1 day rest in between each day.

Cardiovascular Training: This is the most important aspect of your training when just starting out. I would find 2 machines in the gym and decide to use alternate the use of both of them on different days. For example, a program such as this could be applicable, depending on your current level of fitness:
Monday: 20 minutes straight on the elliptical
Tuesday: 20 minutes straight on the Bike
Wednesday: 20 minutes straight on the elliptical
Thursday: 20 minutes on the Bike
Friday: 20 minutes on the elliptical

These cardio routines can be supplemented with any exercise that gets your heart rate above 130 for an extended period of time. Swimming, or another low impact exercise would probably be the best to start with. Running or other impact-oriented exercises should be avoided if you are very overweight, because your body is out of balance muscularly, so it will unconsciously compensate for it, leading to joint problems and other random aches. Wait until you lose enough weight, have enough muscular balance (strength between abs and lower back, strength between quads and hamstrings, chest and back), then go ahead and start running.

Walking: You're 15, you don't need to walk to lose weight unless theres an underlying cause. Stick to cardio, push yourself each time 5 days a week, and throw in 3 day a week strength training with proper form, and you should see results soon.

When you get advanced: When doing steady-state cardio is no longer challenging, try varying the pace a bit. For example, on the bike or elliptical, you could do: 1 minute hard at a high resistance, 1 minute easy at a light resistance. Or, 30 seconds hard at a high resistance, 1 minute easy at a low resistance, keeping the rpm at a constant number. Play with these variables and see what challenges you but doesn't kill you.

Diet: Eat healthy, no fast food, but no crash diets. Fruits, vegetables, and protein.

eat healthy smaller portions, walk and drink a lot of water. It's not easy losing weight but if your determined and change your lifestyle a bit then you will succeed! Just remember its not an overnight thing and it takes time and determination.



Drink plenty of water and walk alot.
Do not think of food or eating and when you want to eat, just do 15
minutes of exercise before you do. (jump rope, jump on a trampoline, dance, jog in place moving your arms up and down. etc)

Eat less of better foods, more veggies less fried or sweetened snacks.
exercise more, primarily walking,jogging.



Diet and exercise as recommended by your doctor.



try going to McDonald only twice a week instead of everyday



Running, Biking, and swimming are all great forms of exercise.
