How can i stop being so insecure about my weight?!


Question: How can i stop being so insecure about my weight?
Everyone tells me i'm very thin and my weight is absolutley perfect.Yet, i'm still the most insecure person on the planet. I'm muscular because i do gymnastics and i'm aware most of my weight is muscle. I can see all my ribs and i have a 4 pack (i'm a girl so i don't really want to be ripped but my abs are ok) i wear size 1 jeans and i'm 5'7 and i weigh 125.

i used to diet very unhealthy i ate almost nothing and ran 5 miles every night on top of gymnastics and dance. i still exercise a ton but i only run 2 miles and i still do gymnastics and dance but i eat more now because i realized i really like to eat and my mom started wondering why i was eating so little. i'm just so insecure about my body though. is there any type of method to get self confidence and stop worrying about my weight. i'm absolutley completley fine with my face and my hair though. Besides thinking i'm fat when statistics prove i am not fat and i have very little body fat i think i'm pretty. i'm really popular but that really doesn't help my self esteem. i have to constantly tell myself that statistics show i'm thin otherwise i completley lose it. last night i looked in the mirror and just started to cry. i have to keep a not in my make up bag with reasons that i know i'm not fat so i won't break down. is there any book i should read that will help me get out of this? should i just go back to eating little and exercising more until i get as skinny as i want to be?

Since you believe that you are fat and you are insecure about your weight you should seek expert advice / counseling. Your health is obviously very important and you should take it seriously. Weigh 125 and being 5'7" is not over weight. You shouldn't eat less and exercise more. Your body needs food for energy.

Weight either way is not the problem. Being too "self absorbed" is the problem here.



Hey whats going on I am Ray. I am 5'10" and 190lbs im very active and always worry about my weight, but their is a point in which you should worry and should not worry. If your in as good a shape as you say you are then your right were you should be, I bet your a very beautiful young girl and have even a bigger lovelier attitude. Which helps out a lot.

You should eat 3 good meals a day, Breakfast is the most important one so eat a well balanced one. Lunch is one that you can eat light on if you chose to do so, and dinner depending on if you worked out will depend on what you eat. You should stay away from fatty foods like fast foods but eat grilled chicken or a good 8oz steak. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
