Losing weight? Help me please!?!

Question: Losing weight? Help me please!?
So I'm 5'5'' and 180... I HATE it :/ I've gained a LOT of weight since the beginning of this school year due to stress and such. I'm a junior in high school, soon to be senior (Go 2012!!) and I really want to get back to being healthy by the 1st break of senior year (September 2011). The problem is I NEVER have time. I'm always stuck doing homework and projects and taking care of my sisters. The only exercise I can manage to get is helping out with tennis practices 3-4 times a week for an hour and a half each day. That just doesn't feel like enough. Again, my problem is time. After tennis or school I come home and have to do my homework, make dinner for my sisters, and take care of them until my dad gets home around 9 ish. Therefore there really is no chance for me to run or take a walk. Then I'm normally doing homework until 12 or 1 am. I feel absolutely awful at this point. I feel disgusting. I don't know what to do anymore. Please please please any tips or suggestions on what I can do to lose weight or ways I can work out at my house or find time would be amazing! Also, diet suggestions are welcome. My goal is 125 pounds by September.

Thank you thank you thank you SOOOO much in advance!

Perhaps you could try the negative calorie foods diet.

You are eating too many calories, you can cut back ,you have time for that.

just dont eat too much. you exercise a lot, but i think you're just eating too much, minimize your intake.

I'm sorry to tell you this but if you have no time, then you have no hope. You need time, even an hour, to exercise, and if you don't get any, you may as well just find a way to be happy in your current body. I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but getting to 65lbs in seven months is not going to happen with no exercise (well, actually it can, but in no possibly good way). And if you think you're going to resort to starving yourself by eating a tiny amount of calories, think again, because here is what will happen: You may lose weight, rapidly even, however your body will get accustomed to functioning on very little and will do one of two things: fight back and hog what fat it can from what you do eat, then you won't lose anything but muscle or water weight which is nothing or when you eat what is actually a normal amount of calories (between 1000-1500, but more like 1500 for you), you will blow up like a blimp in a heartbeat because your body no longer knows how to deal with higher amount of calories. You will never be able to function in high school and do all that you do by starving yourself, because just when you think that you can eat something crappy "just this once" or "every once in a while" you'll only end up doing more damage and destroy your metabolism and then you'll really be miserable (and this may take a year to find out, maybe two, but it does happen). I'm sorry. You can diet, but no good will come of it if you don't exercise even just a little. The key to losing weight is to burn more calories than you take in, but you have to work out to do that, you can't just wish the pounds away.

Now here is what I would suggest. I don't believe that you actually have NO time to yourself. You must have at least a half an hour three times a week, maybe the weekend or something. If you do, then that's plenty. You start by doing something that many people will find difficult, but is actually not very hard at all. Stop eating all forms of fast food and drink TONS of water. I would say that you could eat it once in a blue moon, but you would need more exercise to be able to account for it, so I won't tell you to do that. Don't drink juice, soda, coffee (maybe one or two times a week, once a day if you really like it) don't eat cake, cookies, chips, candy, burgers, hotdogs, fried foods of every kind, all that crap. It sounds horrific, but it isn't, trust me, it's easy when you know what you want and you want it bad enough. It's devastating, I know, I am going through the motions this very moment and I'm not much older than you (and I haven't got the same benefit you as a younger person has with a better metabolism by nature).

But this is what you have to do. And not just until you lose the weight. Forever (like the voice of doom, right). However, once you get to a point where you have at least two whole hours everyday to dedicate to exercising, then you can have those things in extremely careful moderation. Eat vegetables, of course. If you don't like them, learn to. I am currently going through this very thing (and I hate vegetables but just an hour ago ate broccoli, spinach, and carrot) and I lost 5lbs in 13 days (yes, I just started on the 7th of this month!). I can eat a little junk here and there because I have a healthy workout regimen.

I had more to say, but Yahoo! Answers cut me off and it is extremely important that you know this. If you want my email, leave a comment in the additional notes section.

I am there at this very moment. The only reason I'm not at the gym like I usually am is because my muscles need to rebuild (so soooore) and I can't force myself anymore lest I tear something in my legs.

AND DON'T LISTEN TO PERSON ABOVE. NO ONE SHOULD EAT 8 TIMES A DAY, AND CHEAT TO BOOST METABOLISM, (but green tea is good for a different reason). Eat five times max, but very small portions equally in calories minimum 1500.

I totally understand where your coming from! You will loose alot of weight if you cut down on consuming allot of calories. You only need alot of calories if you are pretty active. You should eat like 8 times a day. each snack yould be like an orange, salad(little or no dressing), half a sandwich, a peice of chicken, or a peice of beef. remember SMALL portions! Most people eat when they are stressed out, even if its a little thing. Your probably stressed out because you want to loose weight but you can't because your studying, doing projects or taking care of your sisters. You should be taking care of yourself! Green tea, Black tea, white tea and especially Oolong tea are great matabolism speeders! They should help alot, if you drink like atleast one or two a day. Look up how to drink them. they have 1/3 of the caffeine of strong coffee, so you could drink it like three-four times a day and still be wide awake. I know, tea can be pretty bitter and icky, but just experiment with what you like!:)
Because your so busy studying, jog on a treadmill (if you have one) while your studying. Its hard for me to do, but for most people I guess its pretty easy. if you don't have one, just flex your abs, arms, or butt while reading. You could take your sisters on a walk around the block a few times, or after school take them to the park and jog around the playground. Or have them make up a dance with you, you guys would have alot of fun following along a excersize video. I know I used to with my sister. Or if you and the girls are watching tv, jog in place or do crunchs, piers, situps, pushups, ext..
Another idea is to use ankle weights and lift your legs while sitting and studying. or use dumbells to work your arms while you read. better yet!, do both at the same time!!
Drink ice cold water! Water has no calories, and your body burns calories to warm up the water!:) perfect for weight loss!

I hope this will help you:)
