Thigh/ab muscle building excersices?!


Question: Thigh/ab muscle building excersices?
I don't want to be a body builder at ALL! I just know that muscles burn more calories just by being there than fat :/ So what excersises can I use to build muscles in my thighs and stomach? I'm looking to lose 2 inches from the diamater of my thighs (mostly the sides and back) and 1 inch of fat from my stomach.
I am a strictly AT HOME excercise person, so please don't suggest 'Go to the gym and blah blah blah'

I'm hoping to join a soccer team soon and I'd like to be fit by then and for the swimsuit season that , for where I live, comes NEXT month O_O

eat right, drink at least 1 gallon of water/day

Plyometric squats, diamond jumps, squats, lunges, running, and these vids for the legs
