Is Dr. Simeon a real doctor? Is the website www.purehcgdiet.com legitimate?!

Dr. Simeon was a real doctor.
He discovered the hormone HCG in 1952. That is how old this quack science is.
As for the legitimacy of products....
All over the counter HCG products were announced as illegal and fraudulent by the FDA on January 24, 2011
Testing concluded that all over the counter oral and injection products on the market have little to no real HCG in them but most contain a synthetic derivative of the hormone.
Anyone that lost weight did it because they ate fewer calories than they burned.
The HCG acted as the placebo to help them lose the weight.
The only approved use for HCG is to increase fertility in both men and women.
The FDA will most likely allow the sell down of product and then put in a full blown ban with fines for failure to comply later in 2011. The FTC will most likely start fining companies for fraud and false advertising sooner.
Next year will mark 60 years since this fraudulent science was started.
You will put all the weight back on as soon as you stop the calorie deficit. The HCG is irrelevant.

I really have a hard time believing a doctor of any credability would recommend Hydroxycut. THe olsd formula caused liver damage and one death. The new formula is just a bunch of caffeine.
