Being a 5'5 female your ideal body weight is somewhere from 113 - 138 lbs. To lose weight faster than before keep a Target Heart Rate for 20 to 45 mins everyday! At first you feel but don't see the results but you will as long as you stick to doing this and not give up thinking results won't come. I bet you can do this by may 1st, start now! You can run or do whatever you like but just make sure to have the highest Target Heart Rate you can handle for 20 to 45 mins. everyday. You can do longer if you like.

Age.........Target HR Zone 50–85 %....Average Maximum Heart Rate 100 %
20 years 100–170 beats per minute 200 beats per minute
25 years 98–166 beats per minute 195 beats per minute
30 years 95–162 beats per minute 190 beats per minute
35 years 93–157 beats per minute 185 beats per minute
40 years 90–153 beats per minute 180 beats per minute
45 years 88–149 beats per minute 175 beats per minute
50 years 85–145 beats per minute 170 beats per minute
55 years 83–140 beats per minute 165 beats per minute
60 years 80–136 beats per minute 160 beats per minute
65 years 78–132 beats per minute 155 beats per minute
70 years 75–128 beats per minute 150 beats per minute

well its hard to really gouge the amount in pounds, that depends on ur bodyfat and weight but i know one thing its gonna be tough..

30-40 pounds maybe?

20 maybe?

Numbers are so useless and yet somehow that's what everyone focuses on, which is sad. You can look at your body and see what you want. Looking at your body, I assume you simply want to get rid of the belly. Fine. But a NUMBER isn't going to help you get there. What if I told you that you needed to lose 15 pounds? Would that make sense? What if ALL OF THAT WEIGHT came off of your arms and thighs and your belly stayed the same? That number wouldn't matter so much, would it? Didn't think so. You need to exercise, that's the bottom line. The amount that you weight has NOTHING to do with how you look. I've weighed 135 pounds of fat and 135 pounds of muscle and I can promise you it looked TOTALLY different even though I weighed the same number. You see how that works? You need to do exercise - ANY exercise will reduce your overall body fat. You can't target areas on your body that you want to lose weight in, so you might as well just do whatever exercise is fun to you - running, swimming, boxing, whatever you like.
