Do you think skipping breakfast would make me lose weight?!

Question: Do you think skipping breakfast would make me lose weight?
Im sorry but all those websites that say 'Breakfast is the most important meal of the day' dont realize that if its so important to eat, then taking it away will make you THINNER.

I lost 15 kilos by skipping breakfast.

Only took 2 months too.

Do you think skipping breakfast helps in weight loss?

some people say its just loss of muscle... in that case, i must have lost 15 kilos of muscle turning me into a supermodel body!

Answers:

it will make you lose weight but it will make you weaker

Come back here a few months later.
If you have not regained some of the weight you lost by going on a restrictive diet plan, which included skipping breakfast, than your weight-loss will have been a real success.
If not, then your diet plan will have been a failure.

Rapid weight-loss restrictive diet plans, like yours, have their problems.
They often do not allow you enough time to adopt, as part of your daily life, a variety of healthy lifestyle habits. Without these habits, it's usually harder to successfully maintain a slimmer healthier body, in the weeks, months & years to follow.

For myself, breakfast is essential.
It's a good way to fill my body with sufficient nutrients (especially fibre and protein), so I have plenty of long-lasting energy to get thu the morning, without needing to rely on sugary snacks or a caffeine hit.

Skipping breakfast puts your body into "starvation mode" in which you will end up retaining more of the calories you eat over the rest of the day. If you want to lose weight, try eating a very light breakfast, like a banana or an apple, and some milk or juice. Those are low calorie (about 5 for the fruit and it will depend on the drink) and they will keep your digestive system and metabolism working so that you burn more throughout the day.

Your breaking a fast by eating breakfast. That's where the word comes from. It's the single most important meal of the day.

Your better off just eating not as much (no over eating)...and eating healthier. It's not good to skip meals because you'll be more hungry around lunch time and in the end, you might just be snacking more.

friend your doing wrong don't skip ur breakfast it is dangerous,u have to cut mainly oil, sugar,&carbohydrate but carbohydrate is essential for energy also ,please consult with a detetian

If your goal is weigh loss then doing it on an empty stomach is best, then eating in recovery.

It's not really healthy.you'll get an ulcer in the long run.you should eat less during dinner instead:)
