how can i successfully lose weight?!


Question: How can i successfully lose weight?
i've just turned 16 and am 5 foot 10/11". i have quite big hips/upper thighs and would love to know how i could lose some weight from these areas. i have even considered making myself sick before but know that i shouldn't do that :/ pleeeeaaase help! x

Just start slow, make your first and only goal this- to make being healthy a habit, if you stick to it for two months, it will be, and you can keep going from there much easier. You want to exercise 5 days a week, start by walking, biking or whatever your comfortable doing, and at the same time start slowly making improvements to your diet. Just sensible whole calories, no diet foods or crazy plans, 3 decent meals a day and you can even have two snacks, one before lunch ( a fruit) and one after dinner ( a protein, rotated left overs work good for this). Keep in enjoyable, be a smart cookie, realize your efforts will start your brain and body shifting gears towards health, your sleep will improve, your digestion will improve, your energy, strength and endurance will all improve, and of course so will your self esteem. Just give it time and be stay sensible, it really is easier then it seems, if you understand the basics are what matters.



Basically, Your body burns carbs and fat. However the burning of carbs and fat is not equal. When you start to work out you burn more carbs than fat and can be recognized as Carbs>Fat. After about 30 minutes your body goes though a transition where the amount of carbs is the same as amount of fat being burnt and can be recognized as Carbs=Fat. This transition only last for about 5 minutes then more fat is being burned than Carbs. This is Carbs<Fat. What is important to know is you are Burning about 90% Carbs 10% fat in the being then they swap places in the 5 minute transition. An example of this can be if you run for 30 min everyday you wont see any changes. But if you run for 45 minutes you will see your "fat" areas getting smaller! If you change your carb intake you can lose weight quicker though!

Have a teaspoon of Pure Honey in empty stomach daily.
Walk for 15 minutes,20 minutes after food.
And the very best....Go vegetarian:-)



only eat 1 cup of rice everytime u eat..



keep busy and work hard.



Eat less and move about more................simples!
