If i do the 30hr famine, what will happen.

I personally think that it is an insult to not eat for 30 hours, just to collect money for starving, abused, uneducated children around the world who do not even have clean water. Are you also going to not drink water unless it’s filthy and contaminated? You can get stinky, smelly, unfiltered water from your nearby water filtering plant...or just don’t flush and drink THAT. What about getting beating up or rape to raise money? You could get 20 people to pledge $20 each time you get raped (by a volunteer) so you could raise $400!!


I could not eat for 10 days if I wanted to. You’re hungry the first day, very hungry the second day, ravenous the third and then your body stops sending you hunger signals as you’re not answering them so the following week is smooth sailing.


I would never eat less to raise money for people who cannot eat, while having 3 groceries stores 5 minutes away from my house and feeling like a hypocrite.


I will pledge money for kids/adults walking/running for a cause. Each mile they can walk/jog and they get money from each mile and each pledge. They’re making a physical effort to...save babies like March of Dimes. Or they’re reading books. My kids had to read 20 books to raise money for March of Dimes. Babies do not read books...babies do not walk...but you read books and you walk to raise money for babies.


And here you are, wondering how not eating for 30 hours could affect your body...kind of a little selfish, isn’t it?
Maybe you're just a budding anorexic looking for excuses.

very bad idea to not eat reguraly,,,it is not important so much how much eat you as it is WHAT you are eating.

you can eat how much you like if you stay within these 3 guidelines and still lose fat naturally and gradually. You should lose 10lbs each month on average.

1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains, & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.


(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer ((Very cheap)) and a rice cooker as makes it very easy to prepare healthy meals ,,add a bit of olive oil and pepper, spices on top of steamed vegeatables, fish or chicken to add more taste if wish as these are healthy too.)

Try to include more resistance traning in your workouts. Why? Reason is simple, muscle is a great fat burner even at your resting metabolic rate means that you will burn more calories . Cardio only burns while you do it and once you stop runing its not really doing much for you until the next day .So if you are looking to burn fat and want to make it easier to keep it off you must include resistance. Calorie intake is important but the basic rule is burn more calories than you eat to lose fat. So since 3500 calories equals to one pound of fat if you cut 500 calories daily from you daily intake or burn 500 calories more than you eat in a day. You can lose 1 pound a week. Hope this helped.

You will get hungry and your body still needs and uses nutrition all the time. You body needs vitamin, iron, calcium and many many more. If you are not eating can you replenish these?
All you are doing is making your body starve it will go into starve mode to retain energy. You may even suffer from low blood sugar which will make you feel lethargic and weak.

There is no point to it. The charity is being irresponsible if you want to give then just pay you don't have to starve yourself.



So, you dont eat for 30 hours. Then what? You are hungry, so you are going to eat. Nothing is ever gained by fad/or crash diets. I call them desperation moves while being lazy......>

Just eat healthy food and exercise......Be extreme in your intensity not your methods.......>

your body will go into starvation mode. It will burn muscles, fat, bone-mass, organ tissue, blood vessels etc..

Bad idea!

When your body is in starvation mode you will experience:

Mood swings
Depression
Weakness
Loss of concentration
Stomach disorders
Weak immune system

and much more....

not really a good idea, starving yourself doesnt help you lose weight as you have back up fats and stuff in your body which activate when the body thinks its starving so you wont lose any weight that way. Plus it will knock your immune system so will get sick really easy



sounds like bullshit to me hun. Ur better of eating small healthy meals regularly thru out the day to keep your metabolism high
