How much exercise should I be doing?!


Question: How much exercise should I be doing?
I'm 15 , and trying to lose like 50 pounds or more. (Hopefully by end of summer, or sooner)
I weight 202.8 and I have been losing weight during this past week. (I didn't have school this whole past week so it was easy) I lost about 5 pounds.
Eating healthy and very light, and then exercising maybe about 45-60 minutes a almost every day. Some days only about 20 Min's on the treadmill , or just dancing! Ha ha.
Should I be exercising more? And I have school again coming up so its going to be a challenge to exercise, study, and get help all in one day. Ideas? Advice? Anything.

hey emily:) im 15 too, and i've lost about 25 lbs, and im still loosing weight:) i think, you can loose maybe 35-40 easily by the end of summer:) after you work out, you should swim for about 45 min during the summer. if you go to a gym, you could use the cycle for 10 min and the elipticall for 10 min. if you only have the treadmill, walk on it fastish. (4-4.5 mph) also, walk as much as you can troughout the day. you can walk to friends houses if they live only a couple miles away. or bike there. also, you can give yourself 1-2 days off your diet a week. to eat some sweets, but never pig out, because you'll feel guilty. also, remember, you need to eat about 1000-1200 cal a day. i decided to eat 800, and my body ended up storing my fat, even when i exercised 5-6 days a week:( so, you can learn from my mistake! last thing, if you ever feel like you have to exercise, and you feel stressed while doing it, go for a walk, and remember, you should never work out angrily. exercise can be done happily. we can do it!:)



No do not try to work out any more keep the pace you are going at. Don't rush into working out too much if you do you will be used to it and be able to keep it up longer but don't extend the time. BEcause sooner or later you will be working out five hours a day just and some ankle weights.
