If you've tried Atkins program & can't lose weight, you need to have your thyroid hormone tested.

I am *much* older than you, disabled & haven't been able to exercise in 20 years & lost massive amounts of weight with Atkins program.

Drugs will just screw up your metabolism.

I looked up that product & it's mainly caffeine & yerba mate & other ingredients

Tetradecylthioacetic Acid is my main concern - if if works the way it claims, I can't imagine using it without a low carb way of eating. It increases ketones & lipolysis (ketosis) & insulin triggered by carbs stop this metabolic action.

Supplementation of anything can be dangerous & I highly recommend whole food sources only.

Yerba Mate has been highly touted - I think it tastes nasty, but apparently you acquire a taste for it eventually.

Taking medicine isn't a good way to lose weight. Eating healthy and exercising daily are the only true ways to lose weight. Judging on you being a body builder I don't think you need weight losers anyways. But if you take the recommended dose on the packaging it should be alright.

Check with your doctor. And if he ok's it, then get into contact with the pro's, and find out what regimens they have, I'm sure you'll be surprised about how involved it is, and what kind of precautions they take.
