Dieting on 1200 - 1250 calories per day. Is my weight loss to rapid?!

Question: Dieting on 1200 - 1250 calories per day. Is my weight loss to rapid?
Im a 26 year old male. Im 6 feet tall and I'm an office worker so I guess Im lightly active. Since New Year's Day Ive been eating exactly 1,200 - 1,250 calories per day and its all frozen or prepackaged food. I dont feel deprived or anything because I break it into three or four small meals per day. I have gone from 210 to 175, a loss of 35 pounds in 2 months. My doctor said I did a good job but is this dangerous? My goal weight is 140 or 150. The low end of the spectrum for a six foot tall man. I dont feel weak or light headed but the weight continues to drop rapidly. Can my body handle this for say 6 months?

Answers:

For your weight, at the moment the amount of calories is extremely low and i would of said dangerous. But know that you hit 175 it is getting reasonable. And i would say, once your drop to 165 it would become a perfectly heathly amount of food to eat if your trying to lose weight. But, as you start getting lower and lower, you will drop weight less rapidly. So just in my opinion, i would maybe raise it up to 1400 calories, and lower it down to 1200 gradually, the more you lose weight.
