Is the science presented in "The China Study" good science and should !

Question: Is the science presented in "The China Study" good science and should we all go on a Vegan diet?
Answers:

I believe in compromise. I think that being vegan is extreme. However I am a vegetarian. I think that occasional meat is fine however it doesn't need to be a staple of our diet. Many people will say where are we going to get protein from? There is protein in everything. How much is the real question. If people were to eat beans or even nuts these are both very good sources of protein and fiber as well. Meat has very little fiber which can cause problems for your intestines later in life if you don't eat enough fiber. And as far as milk, cheese and butter go I am fine with them because they add flavor however their nutritional value is very slim. The majority of the vitamins we need come from fruits and vegetables not meat. There is also a risk of getting a lot of different diseases from meat. Again I would say that meat is good however it doesn't need to make up the majority of our diet and unfortunately in america it does.

No it is not good science. It extrapolates. It says since those who ate little meat did better than those who ate a lot of meat,,, then it would be better to eat none at all. not sound.

most definately a healthy diet... but yeh if u want a small undeveloped body like asian people then yeh go on the diet.
