Eat healthy small meals 3 times a day and 8 glasses of water everyday

You sound so much like me.
I was 5'3" and almost 150 last January (I was 13). Over the last year, I've lost 32 lbs.

First of all, it's realistic to lose 1-2 pounds per week. So, it would take you 2-4 months to lose sixteen pounds. Think of it as more of a life style change than a diet. The more fat you put into your body, the more you're polluting it.

Second, keep up your exercise routine. It doesn't have to be structured, even a walk with friends will do.

Third, make tiny switches to what you eat, for example:
Veggie pizza instead of regular.
Skim milk instead of whole.
Low-fat cheese instead of normal.
Turkey bacon instead of pig bacon.
Grab a watermelon slice instead of a cookie.
Drink a glass of water instead of coke.
Replace most of your drinks with water.
Buy some healthy snacks, trail mix, crackers, even those "controlled portion" snacks are good, because even though you're not counting calories, you know you won't overeat.
That being said, don't be afraid to have a snack. I still have my favorite foods, I just limit them a little more, which makes having them just a little bit more special.
Finally, if you are having a chocolate bar, or a box of Smarties or something, share with a friend, not only is it nice, but it also reduces the amount of junk you eat.

I have one warning - Don't get involved with calories. You're only young, don't make the mistake I did, I started counting calories and such and now I'm obsessed. Just eat healthy and everything will fall into place. :)
