Any tips on how to stop eating junk food completely?!


Question: Any tips on how to stop eating junk food completely?
My eating habits are bad and I want to change them (and I also want to lose a little weight), but I'm not sure how to go about it. I can't get rid of all the junk food in the house because I'm not the one who buys food. I usually eat when I'm bored and have nothing better to do. I did try just stopping (eating sweets) all at once, but that didn't work for me (not to mention my family kept asking if I was sick). Any advice?

You can definitely not stop eating junk on a dime. That's like trying to quit smoking immediately. It's impossible to do. You have to wean yourself. Whatever you favorite junk food is try to only eat on piece or very little of whatever it is only once during the day. Then gradually start to cut yourself off. Start replacing the junk with other sources. Ask whoever buys the food in your house to buy some fresh fruit. Apples, bananas, etc. The sugar that is in fruit will help to wean you off of your infatuation of junk food. As far as losing weight, that will definitely help but you cannot achieve much of anything without exercising. Pick a time during the day, preferably in the morning before you do anything else and exercise. Cardio and circuit strength training will work wonders. Good luck!

its really hard to quit stuff cold turkey, but if you really wanna quit eating junk you're gonna hafta commit to it. some simple things to do are to slowly wean yourself off of the junk food, for example if you eat junk like 3 times a dayy cut down to two times then one time then every once in while then not at all. also its easier if you find healthy alternatives to things. like veggie chips or trail mix, fruits and apple sauce instead of Cheetos, Doritos and soda. also theres lots of ways to change up the way eat fruits and veggies like making them into a smoothie, theres lots of healthy snack recipes you can try if you just search it on the internet.

Well, decrease the amount of junk food you take in slowly.
Also, whenever you see junk food, just tell yourself "I promised not to eat this"
Or anything else that you could say to yourself to remind yourself not to eat that.
You could also try finding another activity to do that will distract you from eating the food (:



gradually eat less junk food. smaller meals. don't eat till you're absolutely stuffed. eat healthy meals and exercise. find things to do. hobbies. go for a jog. wii fit :D



Make a fruit smoothie instead ! that's what i do taste so good ! try freezing your strawberries< and when you feel like eating make a smoothie with banana& frozen strawberries with milk & blend & you don't need sugar !
