How much should a 5"2 15 year old weigh?!


Question: How much should a 5"2 15 year old weigh?
I weight 117 and I'm not comfortable with this weight, I really wanan go down to 100 pounds but I need advice badly if I'm wanting to lose that much weight, thanks.

Did you mean you weigh 217 lbs. Yes long term goal, you could lose 100 lbs.. For your height ( which is my height), they say weight range between 110- 135lbs. I personally think it's at the weight you feel your best/fittest and healthiest. It not all about the numbers especially since you want to maintain it/keep it off, which is the hardest to do. I would start by setting small goal weighs like losing 2-3lbs a week or 10lbs a month, something that seems doable. Exercise and eating right is key to weight loss. Do cardio 5-6xweek and weights 3-4x a week. Be sure to take at least one or two days off from exercising so your body can rest and reset. Daily calorie intake to start I would recommend 1,600 then work your way down to 1,400 within a month or two. If you feel you ate to much one day then the next day I would suggest 1,200 but do not go lower than that, as your body will go in starvation mode and try to hold on to your fat as food/energy and can slow down your metabolism. You won't have energy,you can't lose weight as fast and it makes you feel miserable. I've been in your shoes and this is what worked for me. Good Luck



thats a good weight or you could loose a couple pounds, i don't know because i don't know what you look like but if you go all the way down to 100 pound that might effect your health.
