Question: What should I tell my mum?
what excuses can I use to tell my mum I want ger to buy me healthy food cos she wouldbe worried if she knew I wanted to loose weight cos am only 14

Answers:

mom, i saw a commercial and they said this can make your eyesight better, i heard this is good for the immune etc.,



you don't need excuses :)
most people would say 'your 14 do not lose weight'
but if you want to you can!
just say to your mum can i have this for dinner and this for breakfast and maybe offer to cook. that way she may let you do it and will be more inclined with the offer.
so if you make something healthy you could get the whole family to eat healthy.
just ask for fruit and veg more often and say that unhealthy is not good.
but i shall tell you another tip. its not only what you eat that makes you lose weight.
for weight loss if you drink more water it will make you less hungry then you won't feel the need to snack as much. but you still need a healthy diet too!
drinking also means that it will clear your skin!
i'm 16 and when i was your age i was exactly the same... tell your mum why and maybe then she would understand? but then if your not that close to her just ask for other food :)

If you really need to lose weight then tell her that your worried about your long term health and the effect of eating food with too much fat in it because it can damage your arteries and could lead to heart attacks in the future.
Just say that you want to grow up and be a healthy adult.

How much weight do you need to lose?
Just changing a few things will help, such as trimming the fat off any meat, using low fat spread and changing to semi skimmed milk.

Do not go on a diet though because it is just a quick fix and the majority of people put the weight back on.
Also youv'e got to remember that your only fourteen and still growing so your body will start to fill out anyway, it's just natural.



Omg, actual proper snap! I'm the exact same. I became veggie and suggested 'really nice foods' such as rice cakes and said please can you get some. I also pretend not to like loads of things. Im trying to lose weight but its so hard to hide it all the time. Hope all goes well for you, xx

Why not be honest with her? If you're chubby or overweight, then she won't mind. If you're already average weight or thin, then just don't want to lose weight because you're fine the way you are now.
Otherwise, just say that you want to watch your health and eat good foods.



Why should you use an excuse to eat healthy food?
Just be honest with her, you want to eat healthly. You now what can happen if you eat unhealthily just tell her the worst outcomes of not eating healthily.



explain that you have been doing some school work and have realised that your diet isn't healthy, and give her some ideas of what you would prefer to eat, offer to help her prepare vegetables etc



just explain her that what you want and what you like.and she is your mom.she will be understand to you more than anybody in the world.might be she can help to to achieve your goal.



If you are overweight she won't worry.
If you just want to eat healthy so you wont gain to much,
that should be fine as well, most people are trying to eat healthy now.



Oh great advice @silentdevil, so mom calls the school and now the teacher gets fired all cuz this girl is afraid to tell her mom she wants to eat healthy.
