Why am I losing a pound a day?!

Question: Why am I losing a pound a day?
*prepares for weight loss spam*

First of all, I'm 14 years old and female, and I've been struggling with my weight for my whole life. Feeling guilty about what I ate since 3rd grade, actually watching since 6th, and only losing this year.

I really want you to answer this. But to make it thorough I made it really long. You can skip the part between the lines if you're lazy. I know I ignore questions if they're too long.
--------------------------------------…
So, since November, if there's a time where I'm eating right and exercising, I start to lose weight rapidly.
In November I weighed 213 pounds. I got to 205 in a little over a week. All I was doing was watching my calories (consuming about 1400 a day, which is a little low but not terribly), and walking from school to home (2.5 miles and not even daily). I think it started happening right after I'd finished all of my Halloween candy. But the weightloss stopped at Thanksgiving when I ate a huge meal and then kind of didn't do anything about it. I got back to 207 and stayed liked that for a few weeks.

I started losing weight before Christmas again, and got below 200 pounds. When Christmas came everybody was stopping by with sweets so I stopped losing weight, but didn't gain either. And then in January I didn't do very well. I got down to 195, then even 192, but I've been pigging out since so until sunday I got back to 197.
--------------------------------------…
I've started going to the gym every other day, only for the past week, and making slightly better choices than normal. I eat about 1500 calories a day which consists of usually a small breakfast, lunch from the school, sometimes a snack, and then dinner at home.

This morning I weigh 193 pounds, yesterday morning I weight 194, the day before 196, and the day before 197.
Don't start telling me it's water weight. I've lost 15-20 pounds already in this crazy fashion and it's stayed off.

So, I'm not malnutritioned and I'm not exercising that often. If I was always pigging out and never cared about my weight and then just started worrying about it this weight loss thing wouldn't be a surprised, but the thing is I've taken karate, tennis, swimming, and basketball in the past and nothing happened. If I eat anything more than 1700 calories a day I instantly stop losing weight, and if I eat 2000 which is appropriate for my height, I gain weight. What is going on? Is it a thyroid thing? Because the way I'm losing weight doesn't feel safe, even if I'm not abusing my body.

Answers:

You should definately go to the doctor to see if you have an over-active thyroid. The doctor will be able to provide you the best answer, don't take a risk because your health is very important, so go asap. I also have been losing weight but mine is due to stress and worry. When i dont stress i am normal and don't loose any weight, so this may be worth considering too.
