Is hanging upside down bad for you ?!


Question: Is hanging upside down bad for you ?
If i google this question, there are thousands of people saying it IS bad for you because blood rushes to the brain. However, there is a yoga pose called the headstand where people hold the position for up to 20min saying that it very healthy and that is has a great effect on your psyche

Who is the blood going to your brain going to help you? Let your blood circulate and go where it needs to go naturally.



It isn't too good for your health to do it for a long time or to do it over and over in a short space of time. I'd imagine with the yoga pose, you'd gradually get used to doing it for 20 minutes until you could manage it and it would probably be advised not to do it for that long all the time. Basically it's just not that good for you to do it for too long, in fact if you spend way to long like that you could even faint.



i have always heard that it is bad for you. Yes the blood does rush to your brain. I used to do it before and i could feel the blood rushing to my head. If you go to a yoga class ask the people there and if they have tried it. Ask before you try
