Question: I'm on a diet. Was my dinner good?
I'm 16. For dinner I had half a sandwich using 100% whole wheat bread and 1 slice of turkey with a little spray of olive oil on the bread and I had a medium size salad with a few pieces of baked/broiled fish and a dressing I made using extra virgin olive oil, spicy brown mustard, honey, and cajun seasoning. Was this good cause earlier for lunch I had a little mashed potatoes (about a serving), broccoli, and 2 pieces of baked/broiled fish?

for 1 your 16 and your dieting... oh god what has the world come to, and secondly yeah its healthy the only thing is the food isn't the only part, portion size is a big deal. after you ate did you feel satisfied, as in not having to unbutton the top button of your jeans, but full, that's how your supposed to feel, a trick to help not over-eating drink a big glass of water or eat a small hand-full of almonds before every meal and wait like 15- 20 minutes, and don't wait to eat until your super Hungary . also if your tring to loose weight it doesn't matter what you eat its only part, if you don't work out you wont see much of a difference. good luck nicole



Somewhat good, however in the pm you may want to avoid carbs like the bread unless you are going to do a little bit of exercise in the evening.
