Beginner weight lifter, what are some key tips?!


Question: Beginner weight lifter, what are some key tips?
I want to put on toned muscle fast but I dint want to bulk up like a body builder.
How often should I lift?
How long?
What should I eat?
How much? When?
Any other tips?
I'm in high school I'm a boy I want to put on 10 lbs of muscle by July. Right now I'm 6 feet 150 lbs

Answers:

Lift 2-3x a week ever other day
Lift until your muscles physically can't anymore or it becomes really hard
Eat lots of nuts, fruits, grains, wheat and vegetables



Okay. Listen up champ. You lift everyday. Alternate arms and legs. As long as your body physically allows. You eat everything put before you. Protein shakes, muscle melk, power bar. When ever you are hungry you eat(this question I find stupid). If anyone gets in your way... STRIKE.



Eat raw eggs. You need to be like me. Small, sticky, brown, you know.
