Question: Activities for out of shape people looking to lose weight?
I walk my dog for an hour everyday and sometimes my husband and I will walk up this big hill after dinner for another hour. I also do this 50min work out video a few times a week but I really want to get into shape for summer (and for life). I'm so out of shape so I have to start small. Running really hurts my chest and lungs. What can I do. I basically have 2 and half months to drop 15-20lbs.

(I don't have money to spend on any type of classes. And I don't need diet advice. I only eat natural foods, nothing processed and no sweets.)

Sounds like you have a great routine going! you could try doing resistance training, and/or change up your work out video - your body needs to be challenged, so changing up the routine every 4 weeks will keep your body toned all over. good luck but most of all HAVE FUN!



Its true that changing up your workout is the best way to see consistant results - also, the best way to lose fat is to replace it with muscle. I have tried different work outs for years and saw the best results when i began strength training - invest in some weights or resistance bands if you cannot afford the gym. should cost around 20 bucks.
