You need to cut out the bad foods first, because they are something sustaining your weight. Whatever it may be...your favourite snack even. Just cut out all salty, sugary, fried, fast food, junk food, and any and all packaged snack foods. This includes but is not limited to: chips, cookies, nuts/granola, cakes, pastries, sweets, candy, pretzels, popcorn, burgers, fries, pizza, etc. And no brand name foods. Make it a habit to avoid practically all popular brand foods. Also, no cheese, bread, or meat other than chicken breast. And preferably no milk (it is fattening, while nutritious in some ways, is not great for weight loss). Avoid dairy and meat basically

What your diet should consist should only be choices from the following: any fruit, any vegetable, oatmeal, healthy non-sugary brand cereal, low or fat free yogurt, sweet potatoes/yams/potatoes, brown rice, chicken breast, tomato soup, orange juice, and water
This may seem like little but remember: almost ANY fruits or vegetables give you a ton of options!
For example, a weight loss plan could goes like this - breakfast of instant oatmeal (made w/ water) and orange juice, midday snack of a banana, lunch of a lot of fruits mixed up together (fruit salad) and a yogurt, late afternoon snack of carrots, greens, or a cup of tomato soup, dinner of grilled chicken breast or cooked potatoes or bowl of brown rice.

Drink water with each meal instead of when you usually drink milk or juices. Do drink some orange juice in the morning though to get your energy up ^^
Aim to eat around 1000-1100 but don't fuss too much over calories, as long as you only eat small servings of everything and stick to these healthy natural foods you will be good.

For exercise, try doing exercise videos regularly if you have them in your house somewhere (at least 4 times a week for half and hour each time) or look some exercises up on YouTube, if you dont have them, do dance by yourself or swimming at pools as often as you can, or take walks/runs in parks maybe with parents or friends.
Also, a very good tip is to take stairs twice and take the long way at school on purpose!!

Stick to it and you will see results..don't get discouraged if you can't stick to it as well. Trust me, nobody said diet was easy. It is going to be hard, you know that, but also remember your goal you set out to accomplish and that you can and will overcome yourself. Most of changing your lifestyle will be about attitude. Don't give in to your cravings when you know it's obviously unhealthy just because you're frustrated, be strict and rational with yourself.

Good luck!!! Remember you can do it!
I hope this helped :)

4'10 and 130 is pretty big, i'm 5'0 and i weigh 100 pounds. you're NOT fat but you;re chubby.. like snooki! i'd imagine she's around the same, a tad bigger.

use food swaps - hummus and carrot sticks instead of chips and french onion dip, turkey pepperoni instead of the greasy stuff. did you know you can have three times as much turkey pepperoni as regular? 17 slices have 70 calories. buttered popcorn flavor rice cakes topped with salsa is delicious & only 35 calories. laughing cow cheese wedge (light swiss) mixed into some spinach makes it creamy and it's still under 100 calories. look up roasted chick peas, they're amazing.

there's A LOT you can do to lose weight and eat healthy :) look at hungry-girl.com for more examples. just eating right isn't enough though. you HAVE to start working out or else it won't matter. i recommend running. it sucks at first but if you've ever met a runner you'd know it's totally addicting - i love it. it makes you feel AND look amazing.

Don't drink soda.
Don't eat processed foods.
Don't eat meat.

Ignore the American outlook on exercise. Instead of devoting time to exercise, find ways to incorporate it into your every day life: jog instead of walking places, climb trees when you get bored.

Turn off the airconditioner/heater and open a window. You'd be surprised how many calories you burn regulating your temperature.

Serve your dinner restaurant style (food on the plates) rather than family style (food served in bowls and on platters on the table). When your plate is empty, you’re finished; there’s no reaching for seconds.
