Question: If a 15 year old girl weighed 94lbs (88lbs in the morning) would you tell her she needs to gain weight?
Just wondering

she's 5'1

Answers:

Yes. But maybe not directly. Eating more isn't necessarily the right way. However, if you can get her to do some sports, perhaps help around the house more too, her appetite should increase and she'll be able to get some lean mass. Unless she's starving herself on purpose, that should be ok.

Nope`' !!! I'd tell her that do to a shipment of food that not long ago came in , packaged & sold to a number of homes !?! Well it was tainted with radiation !! & the ONLY way the possibly deadly affects can be reversed is if they did this 4 times a day: WALK,jog & or R U N up & down no more or less than 15 stairs 3 times daily!!! swim 14 laps twice a day for two weeks, did 40 sit~ups three times a day_ WALK-or RUN to the nearest store twice a day & <jog in-place three times a day for 10 minutes> !!! But do this last one 1bout 3 hours before bedtime!?! & THEN GET A PROPER NIGHTS SLEEP. !!!! <G/L>~!!!

HAVE A MEDIUM SIZED BREAKFAST ATLEAST EVERY OtHeR day.!?!r"R"r;a;wWwrRr

That's at the low end of a healthy weight for a girl that age and height. As long as you actually had a healthy amount of body fat then no there is no need to gain weight

That is a little too thin in my book.

Her BMI would range from 16.6 to 17.8, which is considered underweight. She could talk to her pediatrician!

Yes, I calculated her BMI, and according to the BMI, she ranks very underweight.

Yes, because her BMI is 17.8
It shouldn't be under 18.5, so yes; she needs to gain weight.

Yeah only about ten pounds. At 94 she probably looks bony and that's not attractive.

Um how tall is she cuz my friend is 23 and is only 98 pounds lol but she only 5'3

yes
