Eating right on P90x?!


Question: Eating right on P90x?
So I am going to start P90x. I found sample diet plans on line and i believe
BREAKFAST
1cup carb
1 serving of veg.
3oz of protein
SNACK
yogurt
LUNCH
1cup carb
1 serving of veg.
3oz of protein
SNACK
1 serving of fruit
Dinner
1cup carb
1 serving of veg.
3oz of protein
SNACK
Yogurt

Does this sound right? I want to try and follow the plan as closely as possible. So if anyone could help that would be great!

Its close. Some modifications you need to make are one of those snacks needs to be eating within 45-1hr after (30min is best), and it needs to have protein in it. P90x offers a protein power with their program, but I had already been using protein powrder so I use one called 100% on whey found at Gnc. So this snack is best to be a protein shake, mix it will water & optional is add in a fruit (I use banana), but remember to count the calories.

Second from what vie digested from the p90x plan it doesn't matter when you eat your protein, carbs, fats just grt the right proportions.

Proteins – 5 servings
Dairy – 2 servings
Fruits – 1 servings
Vegetables – 2 servings
Fats – 1 servings
Carbs – 1 servings
Condiments – 1 servings
Snacks – 1 Single servings
P90X Recovery Drink – 1 servings
P90X Protein Bar – 1 servings

Now I don't eat condiments so I substitute that for more veggies. Also 3oz = 1 serving of protein, and like I said you can sub the recommend recovery drink with another kind just look for one with 25-30g protein per serving. Also it says to have a protein bar as well, but I just use another shake as bars tend to have more sugars than I like to consume. Also make sure you eat the good carbs like:

Sweet potatoes
Oats
Whole wheat bread
Etc.
