Here's a good primer on creatine. Be sure to read the entire thread: http://forums.menshealth.com/eve/forums/…

Buy the unflavored, plain creatine monohydrate powder. You should be able to get around 200 servings for about $20.

Getting your abs to show has almost nothing to do with how much muscle mass you gain. It has everything to do with burning fat off of your body. There is a layer of fat between your skin and your abdominal muscles. The only way your abs will show is if you can burn that layer of fat off.

creatine monohydrate, it's a powder, tasteless. Drink some gatorade and eat it. Sometimes I just eat it with water before and after workouts. There's also a loading phase.

What I do is just get a small plastic teaspoon to measure it.
Drink lots of water, you'll be peeing alot. Some people get bloated.
I also take it with L-Glutamine or Dextrose powder.

try creatine out man, it's like cheat codes.

hi, I had this diet situation since I cant remember. I followed all kind of diet plan but nothing works. Until a friend recommended this method, I was doubtful at first. I didn't see much result until 2 weeks later, but I was amazing. After losing that initial weight, which was a real confident booster, I started to develop good eating habit so I could continue to keep off the fat. I couldn't believe I didn't try this sooner. First of all - how old are you?

Creatine is naturally ocurring in the body. It helps increase lean muscle mass, increases energy levels and improves recovery rate. There can be side effects of taking creatine supplements though - bloating from water retention in the muscles (most common) and as a result, dehydration, diarrhea and cramping.

You have a choice of either Creatine Monohdyrate or Creatine Ethyl Ester which is derived from CM. Creatine Monohydrate is not readily absorbed by the body so you have to take fairly large amounts (creatine loading) in order to allow the body to absorb as much as possible. CEE allows you to take smaller amounts to get the same benefits.

Than there is kre-alkalyn which is buffered creatine. It does not break down in the muscle tissue so you avoid the cramps and bloats.

Its up to you to decide which is best for you - cost can be a factor
