Question: Why are some people slim yet have bloated/big bellies?
I was always slim my whole life but had a big belly. Is it cause I was always bloated? These past few weeks I've stopped consuming a lot of sodium and noticed my belly kind of got smaller but not really. And I really hate my belly, I just wish it was flat.

Maybe you have a poor diet that makes you feel bloated. Notice how malnourished children in charity adverts normally have large bulbous bellies.
Try eating more fibre to get your digestive system moving more efficiently



I know a girl, i went to high school who was the body type you describe. She wouldn't gain weight anywhere but in her tummy. It was embarrassing for her because people always thought she was preggo. She lost some of it by doing ab workouts and getting in some cardio. But I think she will always have a little bit of a belly, its sometimes genetics :( But eating healthy and getting fiber in your diet should help regulate your digestive system and I believe that helps all of us in the tummy area :)

Maybe your lactose intolerant and it makes you bloat. That or its all in your head an yu just think your not flat.



Some ppl have that cuz, after pregnancy it never changed form.
