Whhy haven't I lost weight?!

Question: Whhy haven't I lost weight?
been on 1100-1400 calorie diet and working out an hour every day for a week! 25 female 164 lbs. 5'7 .Haven't lost a pound or inches! How long will ot take to see some results!?

Answers:

I've been doing it for a month (but under a 2000 calorie diet) and I haven't seen any results yet. My trainer says it's because flab is turning into muscle. You have to get your heart rate up to 160 and keep it there for 15 mins. Then your body will continue to burn calories for the rest of the day. Try doing this in the morning and continue your normal routine. If you do that and keep with the calories like you've done you will be sure to see results soon. I was also told that it isn't about weight, its about measurements. Measure your arms, abs and thighs. That's when you'll see changes faster :)

Calories aren't something to be worried about calories are just energy, the reason people worry about calories is because when you don't use all of them in your day then they get converted to fat. What you need to do is make sure you're burning more calories then you're consuming, that makes you lose weight. Try to not worry about calories so much but worry instead about whether it's healthy or not. Also try eating a low carbohydrate diet to lose weight, people often find that a low carbohydrate diet is more effective then a low calorie diet.

If you are working out you will be increasing muscle mass, so that will be the reason your weight appears the same. You are losing fat, your calorie intake is quite low. You should aim for 1500 calories a day, as when you are working out you need fuel. The body some times goes into starvation mode if you consume to few calories, but as you are working out this is unlikely to be the case as working out speeds up your metabolism. Try cutting down on the amount of sugar you are consuming - as sugar can slow weight loss. Replace sugary foods with vegetables and lean protein to maximise weight loss. Measure your weight loss by how loose your clothes are becoming, or use a tape measure as scales can be deceptive, replacing fat with muscle is what you want to do.

I'm not a trainer or registered anything, but hang in there. Your consistency is good with making it a regular thing, but it's only been a week. One eye on the destination leaves only one eye left to find the path. (Sorry...fortune cookies.) 1100 to 1400 calories of what? Maybe make it only 30 to 45 minutes 3 or 4 times a week. Drink lots of water. Ditch the diet sodas or anything carbonated. And relax a bit. Focus on the positive that you're doing it, not on the end result. And don't set foot on a scale for awhile. It's just a number. Go by how you feel and how your clothes fit. Don't give up and good luck. You can do it.

If you want to lose weight, like almost immediately, you can try weight loss pills which contain natural ingredients. However, this is only for short-tem weight loss. If you want the weight loss to be permanent, then you need to identify the source of your fat.weight, eat a healthy habit and exercise regularly.

Give it another week, you could have slight water retention, which is normal in women, especially around your periods. The weight loss will start to show on a 1400 calorie diet for sure.

Its only been a week, keep it up. You should see results by next week, if not maybe talk to a doctor.

it will take about a month to show any difference in weight.. your body wont have got used to the routine yet

It takes time
