Does running burn off all the calories from everything you've ate in the wh!

Question: Does running burn off all the calories from everything you've ate in the whole day?
Today I had a mini banana , 1/3 organic yogurt , piece of toast. = 241calories. - then one hour of exersice involving ( half hour jog, then half hour of jumping jacks, skipping sit ups) - then 8 bits of cucumber ( 10calories ) & a mini bag of oaty bakes ( 99cals ). And for dinner : a balti chicken soup ( 161calories) + a piece of brown soda bread (60calories) - then one hour of exersice involving ( half hour jog, then half hour of jumping jacks, skipping sit ups) - so do all those calories still count or have I burnt them off??

Answers:

Technically you burnt off calories that were already in your body. Its like making a deposit at the bank. You KNOW the $$ is there but it neads to be cleared before you can use it.

i THINK what you want to do is constantly burn off calories. If so, what i have found is that you have to exercise on a regular basis, no matter what you eat. For instance, i got my self in to the rhythm of doing cardio every weekday for 40 min (running, elliptical etc.) After a few weeks, my metabolism was set to a point were i could eat anything i wanted and as much as i want, and my body would burn calories all day instead of just during the cardio exercise.

Of course after a few weeks of not exercising during the week (usually during the holidays) the pounds can come back fast.

You have burnt them off, but that is WAY under the calorie content for you to be eating. You will actually gain fat because your body will retain every little bit and not burn it off because you're starving it.

1500 calories a day, and that's the MINIMUM. Do not starve yourself, that is worse than overeating, because your body can take YEARS to recover from continuous malnutrition.

Well of course an hour of excercise is very good, you would have to have a heart rate moniter and determine your speed and calorie burning times for you excercises however technically some of what you ate is saturated fat which is too complex to be burned off at.

You have probably burnt them all off. You don't have to burn every calories you eat to lose weight.

running does some part of losing calories playing sports does more
