convince me to go to the gym?!

Question: Convince me to go to the gym?
I try go to the gym most days and and am doing well. But it's days like today, where i'm not as healthy as I should have been (I had an excruciatingly unhealthy dinner) that I never fell like going to the gym - not because i'm too full, i feel fine, it's just, I feel why go to the gym when i've already ruined it for the day! I know physiologically that's now how it works, I just can't stop myself thinking that. So please convince me to go the the gym!

Answers:

don't give in to that attitude of "aw f*ck it i ate like crap so im gonna not exercise too! that'll show you, world!"

instead don't get too hard on yourself when you slip up and think the next time you go to the gym and the next time you have a healthy meal is a step in the right direction, so have more steps going the right way then the wrong way

It is not possible to "ruin it for the day." How would you even do that? It isn't possible. You don't lose a pound in a day (though you can potentially gain one, but that's not the point), so why would you think that you could ruin your whole regimen in a day? You can't, it's as simple as that. Even if you did gain a pound in a day, you still couldn't ruin it for that day, you would just start creating a caloric deficit for the week. But, if you continue to eat unhealthy, then why bother going to the gym if you know you're going to keep doing it? I don't know if you're overweight, or just trying to get some muscle definition. But if you are overweight, you can always just sit on your butt, eat like a pig, and then become a pig. You'll be a blimp, and then you'll wish you did go to the gym when you were healthy enough to benefit from it. Go while you can. Because once you hit over 20lbs overweight, you'll see how hard it is to lose it, when you could have done it while you were a smaller size, when the opportunity was better. So if you just want muscle, it will convert to fat, and you'll still be a blimp.

Good luck.

no.. i'll convince you to go to a raw vegetarian diet.. (that simple... and sorry for using those terms.. that's the best way to describe it.. because.. processed foods suck.. no matter how active you are.)

until then.. you're fighting a battle that will eventually end is sickness.

and you'll still be overweight and unhealthy.

and you don't need the gym... you'll do better walking and on a bike.. and meet a better group of people if you want to be sociable.

why don't you think of it this way: yes you had a really unhealthy dinner so you REALLY need to go to the gym today to make up for it. Make it a motivator to try and balance the day the best you can at this point. Hope that helped! :)

Sometimes convincing is not enough. You need the energy to do that and you won't get the energy you need from eating the wrong foods. You need a good boost to help you. Go to www.thebraindiet.net

No matter how much or unhealthy you eat, you can always work it all off (and more).

Just think of how much better your days will be in the future with your bangin' body.
