My new diet plan....will it work?!

Question: My new diet plan....will it work?
I want to know if the meal plan I am doing will make it so I lose weight..because I am not sure exactly how many calories I am consuming. I am around 5"10 and weigh 160 lbs, here is what I eat....

Breakfast:
Serving Size of bear mush (kind of like oatmeal) with a banana

Snack:
A rice cake

Lunch:
A salad with spinach leaves, avocados, tuna, sunflower seeds, and vadalia onion dressing (the serving size)
2 medium sized regular carrots and dip it in hummus

Dinner:
A good amount of steamed veggies such as cauliflower, broccoli, or cabbage
A baked chicken breast (its normally a medium sized piece of chicken)

Will I lose weight with this diet?? Or do you know roughly how many calories are in all this?? I am also getting a good amount of exercise. Thank you!!

Answers:

The plan is perfect, you just need more protein. Protein can help on anything... Eating 80% or more of just plant and veggies/fruit is good but every body needs meat. Eat meat or any protein powder . People think it makes people gain weight but as long as you work out it almost doubles the effect. Just try avoid taking it after ab workouts, unless you want to gain abs instead of losing tummy fat. But this will be very good for your body.

You will deffinately lose weight. Don't forget to constantly drink water, like 5 bottles a day. tHats only 500-600 calories so every once and a while you could have a few more snacks like goldfish crackers or popcorn and apple slices and pickles are good too ;)remember crunches equal toned tummy and jogging keeps thin thighs ;)

Check the labels as you cook and add up the calories in a food journal. Also you need more fruits and tons of water. Skip the rice cake for almonds.

This diet will definitely keep you healthy and if you continue with your exsersize you should lose weight. If your aiming for an all-round good body I'd recommend aerobics and swimming
