Can i lose calories or pounds if i run a mile each week?!


Question: Can i lose calories or pounds if i run a mile each week?
Well in my physical education class we have to run a mile alone in 15 minutes or less can i lose calories ?

Answers:

Running a mile will use your aerobic energy system which will allow you to burn fat.

Doing any task which requires energy will burn calories (a calorie is effectively a measurement of energy), but a one mile run and a reasonable pace will burn more than a one mile race at a slow pace.

Running a mile burns 200 calories so yeah it burns calories.



Of course you burn calories! But if you want to lose pounds, do it atleast 3 times a week minimum for at least 20 minutes or more! :]
