Is there a difference between Splenda, Sweet 'N Low and Nutra Sweet?!

Question: Is there a difference between Splenda, Sweet 'N Low and Nutra Sweet?
I need to cut back on my sugar intake and have some of each, was hoping to use what I have of all of them ... is that ok?

Answers:

Ok, its always difficult trying to decide on artificial sweetener since some is actually not good for ur body -but still sold- and if you are trying to lose weight can slow down the process.
Splenda is not natural; it is a chlorinated artificial sweetener. (There has been recent studies done, added link at bottom.)
Sweet'N Low has been around for a very long time and is much sweeter then sugar. Sweet'N Low is actually Saccharin.
NutraSweet has aspartame in it and I would not recommend for anyone to use as a normal intake.
Aspartame has many side effects from long term use and can slow down weight loss.
When you decide to buy new artificial sweetener look into Truvia/Pruvia since it is made from a naturally occurring source - stevia.

I use only Stevia, a natural plant extract, which I buy from the local health food store or Trader Joe's.

Splenda, Sweet 'N Low and Nutra Sweet are bad for health for various reasons. If given no other options other than any of the three artificial sweeteners or sugar, I always choose sugar or go without sweeteners. To the Bee Man, if honey is available for my drink I use that.

they are all toxic if you get down to facts - best way to 'cut sugar' is to cut sugar - learn new palate habits, find natural foods that gratify - I used to be unable to take drinks without sweetener but you'd be amazed how the palate adapts after a short period of discipline - the synthetic junk in these pseudo sugars is probably worse for you long term, than the sugar - a bit like the 'lo-fat' milk, and margarines, which are more plastic than their packaging.
