I need help losing weight?!


Question: I need help losing weight?
Im 16 5'1 and about 115 LBS and my mom keeps bugging me about losing weight i have notice i am getting chubby and i don't want to be be chubby i just wanna have a nice body. So i wanna go on a diet but im a big eater so i need to know what to eat and what kind of exercises to do because i am lost. Please Help :)

Just for the record, you don't need to lose weight. You're not chubby, and your mom shouldn't be pressuring you like that.
However, if you find that this isn't a comfortable weight for you, you can drop a few pounds and tone up so that you look smaller. You should start by cutting out sugary drinks (slowly if you have to) and drink only water, tea and skim milk (and coffee if that's your thing.) Next, make half your plate at every meal full of veggies. Experiment until you find ones you like; you can even toss some butter and garlic on your vegetables without "ruining" them. Also, eat your veggies first and eat slowly; you'll feel fuller more quickly, so stop eating when you're full. Make it a point to only eat whole grains and to snack mostly on fruits and vegetables. Make sure you're getting lots of protein so that you'll feel full.
As for exercise, cardio is a great way to lose overall fat - running, swimming, biking, dancing, etc. Have fun! You could also look to tone up your muscles by doing exercises like planks, push-ups, crunches and squats at home without any fancy equipment. Good luck!



Just so you know, 115 at that height is not bad at all, but if you need help cutting a couple of pounds, try these tips:
-Drink a glass of water before every meal or snack that you eat.
-Exercise for at least thirty minutes a day, four times a week.
-Eat light foods like rice cakes, yogurt, and fruit.
-Don't drink soda because the chemicals in it make you feel bloated and big.

You need to cut your carbs and increase the meat you're taking in. That simple don't eat more than 75g of carbs per day. That's high, but at 115, if you're really eating a lot, you have an efficient body. With carbs out of the way and all the protein and fat coming in you'll be set. Don't become another zombie like your mom. There's nothing wrong with a few extra ibs of fat. What matters is that you aren't feeble.



forreal, your not large, get over it. if anything, do light aerobics (running, swimming, biking) and eat more greens. But honestly, don't worry about it.



Eat healthier (no junk food + cut back on soda) also exercise more.
Low-impact aerobics like running, cycling, yoga help in many areas.



I agree with the first post. 115lbs isn't anything. If you want to get toned then do resistance exercises for all muscle groups. You'd be amazed what 5lb dumbells will accomplish 20-30 minutes a day.



your kind of person don't eat chese & morning walk and take one cup of green tea with less sugar and one cup of tea at bed time
