Is it really necessary to run in order to lose weight?!

Question: Is it really necessary to run in order to lose weight?
Or lose weight fast, anyway? I know this makes me sound lazy and unmotivated, but I really hate running, with a passion. Why should I do something I don't enjoy in order to lose weight when I can walk or cycle, both of which I DO enjoy?

Anyway, in your opinion, is it necessary to run to lose weight fast?

Answers:

You do not need to run.
80% of weight loss is calories in - eating.
Exercise has a multiplier effect that builds on top of a healthy diet.
Try to get 30 minutes a day of exercise. The trick is to elevate the heart rate. We don't start converting stored fat for energy until after 20 minutes of elevated heart rate.
Try to do short bursts of exertion.
Double your speed on the bike for one minute as an example.
If you can "power walk" that is great.
Walk really fast for 100 yards then normal speed the next 100.
This interval training accelerates calorie burn and increases lean muscle.
Muscle burns more calories - the multiplier effect.
Good luck.

Running isn't necessary to lose weight fast. People should understand that shifting the metabolism is the key to loosing weight. You need a specific calory income while doing a sport, not necesseraly running, but anything that would keep your body moving or the specific types of muscles where you want to lose weight.

hi there, I did have this same problem for so many years. I tried so many products, nothing seem to work. Until I stumpled upon this website, I had my doubts at first but I felt there was nothing to lose. there was a bit of improvement for the first 2 weeks, but I felt great. After that first drop of weight, which was so uplifting, I worked on developing good diet to maintain my result. I feel great!. This is the place: http://www.theloseweightshare.tk
