How does this sound for a diet??!


Question: How does this sound for a diet??
I weigh 150 and I want to lose 30 pounds...at LEAST 5 pounds every two weeks.

Up until recently, I could get away with eating anything not gaining a pound but now it's starting effect me. My biggest problem area is my waist.

I think I should only eat salads, fruit and soups for the next few months. And only eat once a day...only drink water...work out 4 times a week for two hours.

Does that sound effective?

eh, that is unhealthy and hard to stick to and once you go off and eat 3 times a day you will gain the weight back really fast.

the foods you mentioned sound great! but split them up into 4 to 5 small meals a day and incorporate some lean protein so that you wont get hungry so fast! i guarentee you will lose weight like that AND keep it off



No. How about instead, you eat salad with just a little bit of dressing if you get hungry during the day.

For lunch and/or dinner, have soup with lots of meat and veggies and in the morning have a muffin or sandwich or whatever with a fruit such as an apple. Even what I just said is a bit too little so watch out. Okay?



Without protein you will lose muscle mass and hair. Lean meats, fish, or hard boiled eggs two to three meals a week should work with the fruits and veggies.



Effective? Yes. Plausible? No.

You still need nutrients to lose weight. You will need more protein. Working out more then one hour is not necessary.



Only eating once a day does not sound very healthy...
