Question: I want to lose at least 20, 30 pounds by the summer but how?
i am overweight i weigh 175 and very uncomfertable with my body i am 15 years old and for summer i jus wanna look better,, if i can lose even 15 that wud feel great. any goood ways to do it? as fast as possible, and is there any little things i can do daily? im thinking bout walking home from school everyday, which is 3.3 km from my house...so if i walk briskly, wud it make a difference? if so how often should i do it and for how long? thanks, please dont be rude ;\ aaannnyyy advice is good: )

Walking home from school everyday is a great start! It will make a difference for sure; not quickly though. If you want to lose 15-30 pounds before summer you will have to exercise regularly and consume a healthy diet. Cut out pop and extra sugars and replace them with water, fruits and veggies. Start speed walking, jogging, or running at least 3x a week.
If you follow those instructions you will FOR SURE lose the weight.

i lost a ton of weight in the last year. here are some simple changes to your lifestyle that should help.

What you suggested. Walking to school. Instead of driving or taking transport. walk, or jog. Great cardio exercise which helps burn the calories.


Don't eat 3 big meals a day e.g big breakfast, big lunch, big dinner. have 5 to 6 small snack sized meals spread through the day. this keeps your metabolism active, and helps you burn more fat.

Drink a lot of water. Water helps boost your metabolism and helps rid your body of toxins which may prevent faster weight lose.

Stay away from high sugar and high calorie food. instead of a mars bars, have an apple. Eat healthy.

You don't need to get a gym membership to do exercises. You can do pushups, sit ups, chin ups, jumping jacks, and a ton of other exercises at home without spending a dollar. Do atleast 1 hour of exercise per day, plus walking to school.


Do these and you'll start to see the weight on the old scale go down in time. Hope this helped :)



instead of soda, drink water, that will make a HUGE difference.

instead of potato chips, eat carrots.

walk more than just to school too, walk around the neighborhood.

dont snack, just eat at mealtimes.

dont eat any fast food.

brush your teeth more, when your teeth are clean you dont want to get them dirty again.

drink more water, it makes you gain a little water weight at first, but it keeps you full, and goes away faster than fat weight.

i have lost 26 lb this school year.

I think walking home from school would be good. I do it everyday, to and from school, and it helps me some.
