Insanity Workout - What am I doing wrong?!

Question: Insanity Workout - What am I doing wrong?
I gained a good chunk of weight over Christmas, followed by 3 weeks of vacation and a month of general unhealthy eating. I am now on day 23 of the Insanity workout and starting to get frustrated.
I have noticed a SLIGHT body change , (reduced back fat, toner thighs) but over the last 2 weeks I have only lost 1lb. (I have heard a 20lb loss is not unrealistic on this program, at this rate i'll have to do it for 3yrs to see that kind of results)
I know muscles weighs more than fat but it still seems my clothes don't fit right and my tummy fat is looking just as unsavoury as Day 1. I do the workout on schedule, every day.. I am spitting, sweating and dead out of breath at the end of the workout, so I know I am working hard.
I keep my diet to 1200ish calories a day, with a cheat day once a week.. Which in the past has not hindered my weight loss, but instead helped pump my metabolism for the next week..
Has anyone else had this problem on this program? I really dont know what I am doing wrong!
I am getting sick of the repetitiveness of this workout and really dont want to keep on it if I have already wasted a month..

A couple of things right off......>
A cheat day is exactly that....cheating. You are doing nothing to help yourself by indulging one day a week. Now Im not saying you cant have a treat every now and then. But it should be rare.

Your diet should be following the Insanity diet plan, not just watching your calories. It doesnt do you any good to keep your calories at 1200 if you are eating bad calories.
Im also guessing you are not eating enough to get your metabolism running....

You are also only 3 weeks into the program. Dont expect miracles overnight. Most people dont notice any big changes until week 6 or so, but you should be starting to see changes in the way your clothes fit. Quit watching the scale, its doing you no good. Yes, muscle does weigh more than fat, but after just 3 weeks, you have not added more than a pound or so of muscle weight. It takes longer to gain muscle than to lose fat.........>

Just keep pushing play, your results will come.......>

This workout is just another quick fix solution that DOESN'T work. It takes time, patience and consistent effort to get the results you want. For the money you wasted I could have designed a program for you and it would actually be less money.
You cannot get the results promised in 3 20 minute sessions a week

Following the nutrition plan along with the workout is what gets those results. If you actually do the calculation for your caloric need for the program it would be much higher so it's something you could actually follow and not feel the need to pig out once a week
