Answers:

You could easily lose weight by eating 500 calories less per day. However, you would lose lean body mass or if going overboard on this, calcium would leach from your bones, making your bones less dense than healthy. Running in place is exercise and can be done while watching television. If you aren't getting any exercise, you still need enough to maintain bodily functions, so don't go below 1200 to 1500 calories per day, and try just walking around the house while memorizing facts for school. You can do wall push ups. Make some time for movement, as it will really pay off in terms of maintaining integrity of your body and increasing strength and energy.

I am going to disagree with Ashley Marie and say that a 900 calorie diet is not enough nutrition to sustain you. You will be hungry and then you will binge on cheetos and donuts.

Why should you have to count calories at all? But if you must count calories then go for 1500-1800 calories a day.

Try to make healthier choices. Instead of eating processed meats like bologna and hotdogs..Eat lean cuts of meat...or at least get the low fat-or-fat free bologna and hotdogs. They are more expensive, but worth it!

Switch regular pepperoni for turkey pepperoni when you make pizza at home. And maybe even try to make a wheat crust for your pizza instead of a white crust.

Try eating whole grains and 100%whole wheat bread instead of white bread.

Try eating fruits instead of ice cream and donuts

Try squeezing in fruit sand veggies as often as possible..or at least get some V8 juice (low sodium V8 juice)

Try eating low fat dairy products like low fat string cheese, fat free yogurt, 1% milk, 1% cottage cheese, etc, etc...

Drink 64 ounces of water a day...and so you are not just drinking plain boring water, you can also have tea (green tea and black tea), coffee, diet soda, crystal light, low sugar powerade, etc..

Good luck meeting your goals
Take Care :-)

The normal calorie intake is 1200 for your age, i believe.
When i was 17, i cut mine down to 900. Try that. Eating a better breakfast helps too.
If you dont want to feel like youre working out, just go on a tredmill in front of the tv. Or walk the dog, if you have one. It works :) good luck!

Everything you're eating now - just cut it in half (maybe not that drastic but just eat less than you do and make healthy choices). Chances are you're overeating, most people do. Drink a lot of water. It will keep you healthier and your appetite will curb.

1500-1800

1500, fruits veggies, and lean meats..oh yeah lots of water

just remember that u should eat less calories than u gonna spend.... that is the trick
