How to continue to lose weight and keep it off?!

Question: How to continue to lose weight and keep it off?
So i am trying to lose weight and keep it off.. and it was going well, but i had my period and when im on my period im ALWAYS hungry and eat more then usual... i gained like 3 pounds during it. But im scared now because since i was over eating during my period i just cant stop! i gained 8 pounds!!! and my period is off! I did lose 17 pounds but then i gained 8 pounds. over eating has always been a problem with me ever since i was a child. Anyways i was scared because if im doing well and overeat at least 2 days in a row its just soo hard to stop!!! Im on weight watchers and need to start counting my points again. anyways the question is, how can i stay motivated and continue to lose this weight and keep it off? I weigh myself every saturday morning, but i didnt weigh myself this morning because i knew i wasn't eating well and that i gained weight (which i obviously did). but i had to weigh myself tonight (even though i just finished eating) Because i knew i was gaining and i wanted to see how much i weighed (gained) so i could fix the problem and lose the 17 pounds again. I lose weight quickly.. like 2 pounds in a day sometimes and it wold be great if i could lose 10 pounds this week so i could actually be under that 20 pounds! any tips? I know im all over the place sorry

Oh ali, hon....I know how you feel!! I am very sorry that you are frustrated. I know the feeling...I overeat as well and have the SAME problem. To tell you the truth, the only thing that motivates me is just the control over my food. when I don't overeat, it's like an accomplishment...it's great!

Sometimes, when I get hungry when I know I'm not supposed to eat, I chew gum.

Keep yourself a food diary writing down your goal weight, your current weight and how many calories you must keep it down to, and how many calories you should burn. If not a diary, simply just mark this down in your head. Be sure to calculate your expected calorie intake for your height and weight.

When I am craving a snack, I eat frozen rassberries. These are only 40 calories a cup and keep my metabolism and calorie-burn up! (due to the cold)

Good luck. Hope all works out. If you ever need a diet buddy and/or some tips or suggestions or just want to talk, feel free to email me at ameliahopeg@yahoo.com.

You can do it!

* Take one pound at a time
* Set Reachable Goals
* Stay off the scales
* Stay focused on being healthy, not thin
* Fat Free?
* Drink plenty of water
* Reward yourself
* Seek help if you need it
* Watch your portions
* Eat your food slowly

Good Luck and Take care :-)

You have to be more disciplined and really want to lose the weight, no one can force you. It's hard but if you really want it you will make sacrifices (give up junk food, cut down on portions, workout daily). You could start by getting rid of any junk food in your house.
By the way, I think all women gain a few pounds while on their period. Make it a priority to go to the gym and eat right during that time of the month. You will gain a few pounds but lose it after your period is over.

hi, I was having this overweight issue for ages. I followed all kind of diet plan but nothing works. Till I found this site, I was doubtful at first. I didn’t see much result until after the first week, but I was starting to love myself again. After losing that initial weight, which was such a great experience, I worked on developing good diet to maintain my result. I couldn't believe I didn't try this sooner. I hope I've provided good information: www.hotloseweighttalk.tk
