10 minute workout every hour?!

Question: 10 minute workout every hour?
i really want to drop a few pounds so if i do a 10 minute workout every hour, how long would it take to lose a few pounds?

Answers:

If you eat for less than 10 minutes a day it will take a week

If your eating habits remain the same, a 10 minute workout every hour could have you losing 2 - 3 pounds a week. But it gets complicated. The extra exercise will burn calories which will cause a weight loss, but exercise doesn't burn all that much calories, and you won't lose a lot of weight from it.
The big benefit for all the additional exercise is the increased muscle mass. It takes five times as many calories to keep a muscle cell alive as it does to keep a fat cell. That means, that as you increase muscle, your body will burn up more and more calories.
If, as I said, you keep the same number of calories coming in, the muscle will use them up and when they are gone, start dissolving the fat in order to get at those calories.
What this means is that as you start out, you probably will not see any big decrease in weight. In fact, as you put on more muscle, you may experience a gain in weight. To confuse you even more, you may start to feel your close fitting more loosely even though your scale says that you have not lost anything or ever gained a little.
Hang in there and don't depend on the scale alone. Set yourself realistic goals. It's MUCH better to loose weight slowly and keep it off than to lose a lot of weight only to put it back on again.

I do a 10 minute workevery every day and I lose weight. Also by watching what I eat too. But I did 10 min of running 8 mph so it was high-intensity workout. It got my heart pumping and cardiovascular ssytem working!
