I fainted at the gym?!?!

Question: I fainted at the gym?!?
Ok so I went on this new diet... I am 5'7, 14 years old, and I weigh 128 pounds. This morning I woke up and had an egg white, tomato and spinach omelet. Then I went to the gym around 9:00 am. I did the elliptical, for 20 mins then took a break to do some crunches and get some water. I got back on and after doing about 15 minutes of elliptacle the heart rate monitor began blinking red. I continued And soon it went down to yellow. After burning about 480 calories I began to get bad cramps. I got off the elliptical and got some water. As I was walking back a trainer there told me I looked really pale and I should sit down but I kept walking until everything turned black. The next thing I knew I was on the floor. Evidentaly I had been out for 3 minutes. I got up took a shower and got my nanny to take me home.
For the rest of the day I ate no lunch, a bag of skittles, chicken and some orange cake. Am I doing something wrong?? I don't feel like there is a problem.

How can I prevent fainting again?

Answers:

you need to balance eating and exercise. you can't exercise more than you eat, or else you strain your body and it doesn't have anything left to burn. but keep in mind that if you eat too much you won't lose any weight when you exercise. oh, and don't eat too much junk food, that always makes me feel not up to exercising

the lack of eating is probably what did it. if you work out you should eat more. food is where you get the energy to "stay alive." exercise demands more energy from your body. its possible to lose weight and eat more if you exercise the right amount. take it slower. you shouldn't try to "become healthy" too fast or you will run out of energy.

If you feel hungry then your body needs more energy.
