I'd go with the Jello. Jello is actually one of the safest "cheats" around, because it is mostly water. There are only 7 calories in a serving of Jello, as opposed to the 90 calories in a serving of coffee cake. Now, there is the extra calories of the banana... But bananas are really good for you, I'd say the calories are worth it for the extra potassium, fiber, and vitamin b6 that are in bananas.
I wouldn't worry about compensating for this little cheat. It's not a big splurge. I hope this answer is what you were looking for. And happy new year! (:

I'd go for the jello. Jello is relatively safe since you know it's powder and water. Stay away from the cakes though.
