What's your opinion on this diet?!


Question: What's your opinion on this diet?
Breakfast: 1 pear and 1 banana
Lunch: tuna or cheese with salad in a wrap, around 400cals alltogether and maybe some extra salad
Dinner: vegetables and fish or meat with rice/potatoes
Snacks: fruit, a few crackers, maybe a 70cal chocolate bar.
Exercise: 2hrs walking a day

I want to lose 10lb, i'm 105lb, i've already lost over 70pounds. I'm 19, female

You're diet is very unbalanced, lacking essential nutrient's/ foodgroups such as cacium/ dairy, jhealthy fats and wholegrains.
Try this healthy balanced ideal..

Breakfast (Need's to be much bigger/ balanced for it's benefit's to jump- start your'e day):
- Slice of wholewheat toast (or wholewheat english muffin/ crumpet/ waffle/ bagel)
- 2TBSP Natural peanut butter and optional TBSP jam/ fruit preserve
- Serving of fruit (~3/4 Cup berries/ grapes/ cherries/ melon, 1/2 cup canned fruit or applesauce, 1/4 cup dried fruit, cup of fruit juice or medium fresh fruit such as a apple/ banana/ orange/ etc)
- Cup of 1% milk

Lunch:
- 3-4 Slices deli turkey/ chicken/ ham/ roast beef or small can of white albacore tuna in a large wholewheat wrap (or wholewheat pita/ bread's/ bun) with sliced vegetables (eg: peppers/ lettuce/ tomato/ onion) and lowfat sauce/ spread such as TBSP hummus/ guacamolie/ light creamy salad dressing/ honey, dijon or regular mustard/ etc
- 1/2 Cup crunchy vegetables with 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese (or 1/2 cup lowfat plain greek yoghurt)

Dinner:
- 4-6oz Lean meat (red meat, pork, poltry or fish/ seafood)
- 3/4 Cup brown or long grain rice, couscous, quinoa or medium cooked yam/ potato
- 3/4 Cup steamed vegetables in 2TSP olive oil or side salad with TBSP light dressing/ vinagrette

Snacks:
- Cup of wholegrain cereal (or pkg plain instant oat's)
- Serving of fruit (eg: banana, 3/4 cup berries, 1/4 cup dried fruit, 1/2 cup canned fruit or applesauce, etc)
- Optional TBSP cinnamain/ brown sugar/ nutmeg/ artificale sweetener/ honey/ coconut/ etc for flavour
- Optional 70 Calorie dark chocolate bar (or wholegrain granola bar/ pretzels/ baked chips/ lowfat popcorn)



Fruit is good and should be eaten first,as digests very quickly,however it is for cleaning the body,feel you would be better to eat some protein after the fruit for a substantial breakfast-lunch should be a bit more than 400cals-evening meal should be eaten at least 4 hours before sleep-if you are walking 2 hours try to spread that out-one hour walking before breakfast one hour walking before evening meal-

My view of soda drinks is they are like a drug that gives you desires for junk food,also one hour of walking might just burn up the calories a can of diet coke puts on-trust me diet coke is worse than a fully loaded coke as is man made sugar made with Aspartame-read link below to see what you are putting down your throat everyday

fruit isnt a very balanced way to start the day, start with carbohydrates and give your body something to do when you wake up so your metabolism can get to work. also try quinoa instead of rice or potatoes it has a lot of really good amino acids and is very high in protein. instead of eating a large meal at dinner time, eat it at lunch, and have a light meal before bed.

also, i really hope you are a really short person, or else 95lbs would be sickly and make me worry.

What are you drinking? Not soft drink I hope.


All looks good, fruit, salad, water, yoghurt, fish, meat are all good.
Don't let yourself go hungry though.

Snack on fruit. Two hours walking seem's a bit much though, if you do it that long you will drive your body into the ground.

A good 30-50 minutes is good enough.

That would be a good way, but try and intensify the cardio.
I also gotta say that your only 105lb. Depending on your height you could easily gain 10 pounds and be just fine. You would still be healthy and look good. Don't become too skinny.

If your going to be working out 2 hours every day you need to eat more since your burning calories eat protein after you work out to restore!
