How should you eat on your rest days!?!

Question: How should you eat on your rest days!?
I have a rest day every sunday... Somtimes i have a cheat but i'm not going to have one for a couple weeks.. Should i just eat my normal diet like i do throughout the week? Or eat a little less since i'm not working out?

Answers:

I have been a bodybuilder for 20 years+. I have been a gym owner and trainer for the last 10 years. Here is what I find. one day of no workouts and a more calories not only allows more peace of mind for the average person, it refills glycogen stores and helps the body heal for its upcoming week of strenuous activity.. You can eat more but not load up on junk.

So, you are talking about rest from your exercise program, if I am not mistaken?!

Eat normal meals unless you aim to detox. Body needs nutrients, so provide it in form of a nutritious healthy foods. Do not forget to drink lots of water, it is irreplaceable as you know.

Own knowledge.

if u have a consistant diet (not cycling carbs, or calories) then on the rest day u should eat less calories than on the days you work out... try to have ur cheat meals on days you workout and mainly have them either in the morning or after your workout because those are the most efficient times to have cheat meals with minimal affect.

athlete, eats well

eat a little less so that you get your body used to eating less on sundays (non work out day)
