Bulking up with whey protein? Am I doing things right?!


Question: Bulking up with whey protein? Am I doing things right?
I'm a 17 year old male about 5'10 5'9 tall but I weigh 115! I need to weigh at least 130-140. I'm pretty lanky and its not attractive at all lol.

I workout everyday and starting to eat a lot of protein my goal is to get a better body for the summer. Also I drink whey protein after working out.

any help or advice?

Answers:

Whey protein is good protein but you must drink adequate amounts of water, like 8 glasses of water a day with at least 8 ounces per glass. Too much protein can damage your kidneys so you want to be sure you drink plenty of water to flush out the left overs of that protein which are excreted or flushed out by the kidneys. Are you eating 3 healthy meals a day and snacks too?

The reality is that your body can only process about 25 - 30 grams of protein per 6 hours which means you could eat a lot of protein and your body will just flush it out, you need to pork out a bit, start eating donuts or something

but you can do that but for quicker results use a bulking protien
one with heaps of carbs in it to bulk up...
