Slim Fast for one meal a day?!


Question: Slim Fast for one meal a day?
Can I substitute a slim fast shake (or bar) for only one meal a day instead of two? Im sure I can, but will I still see results, or will the results even be noticable for me? I do not have much weight to lose, so thats why Im thinking of substituting only one meal a day, while still eating healthy for the other two meals. Thoughts?

p.s. I do not want to do the two meals a day as a shake, so please do not suggest that instead. Thankss :)

It doesn't matter if you want to lose fat or maintain your body composition, you shouldn't add Slim Fast to your diet. It's expensive, has almost no fiber, and you can get the same benefit with a one-a-day viatmin and some milk while saving money. I ate too many calories today as you can see but it was a cheat day and I still lost. Once you get your diet on track, you can manage your little indulgences and if you want to gulp down a Slim Fast now and then just because you like them, do it. However, don't buy that crap and take it every day thinking you're benefiting your health because you're not. Eventually you'll have to stop and then what?

Also, you should be eating 4-6 small meals a day with healthy snacks in between such that you're feeding yourself every two hours while awake. That's the best way to eat because it will allow your body to process your food more efficiently while keeping your appetite satisfied.

You're probably already eating healthy enough, but having slimfast once a day won't hurt you. Hell, it's probably healthier than eating it for two meals a day by FAR!


However... it's probably time for you to exercise. Exercising beats "dieting" by far.



Your results will very much depend on what/how much you eat on the other two meals. If you are sensible, you will see results. It might be slower but it is possible.
